PuckerBoy has arrived in Arkansas! - Boxer Talk: "Well, Puckerboy has finally arrived in Arkansas! My boys were so excited to meet him, too. Debbie (M22B) sent gifts for all of my animals as well....furry mice and balls for the cats, a birdseed treat for Rocky, a squeaky pig for the dogs that Sterling is already driving me nuts with! She also sent two huge dog bones treats and a box of peanut butter treats for Sterling and Finny....and a big ol' banana for Chucky! She sent me a very nice candle and the most beautiful picture she made of all my critters. Tomorrow will be a big day, as my boys want to show PB our wonderful dog park.

"Puckerboy has had a very busy day today and he is already in bed. So I am going to give you a little glimpse into his busy day. The very first thing we did this morning, is the very first thing we do every weekend morning, and those of you that know us, know what that is, while Joe and I are having our coffee the furkids all get a package each of Cheese crackers with Peanut Butter, it is a tradition and the furkids know when it is the weekend and are very anxious when we make our coffee. Today Puckerboy enjoyed the crackers with everyone..."

The next thing we do is load up in the car Puckerboy sits in the middle...

ShaKira kicks Puckerboy over towards Levi, she really doesn't like him much...

We get to Missie and Shaun's and everyone is excited looking out the window...

Shaun decided to let Puckerboy help grill the food so he wouldn't be so sad, this made Puckerboy happy...


Puckerboy wanted to have his picture taken with his Foster Mommy, Debbie, and with Cheyanne and Petey, so Missie took a couple of pics, please ignore the wet spot on my shirt as Levi gave me a slobbery,
wet kiss right before the pictures were taken....


Today was a very busy day for Puckerboy and he will be resting up tomorrow to get ready to leave Monday
morning for his next visit to Sterling's to meet all of her feathered and furkids. We will miss Puckerboy
but I know that he will have a really nice time at Sterlings.

Puckerboy's Day 2 with ShaKira & Levi - Boxer Talk: "Puckerboy had a busy day today with ShaKira and Levi and the daycare kids and tomorrow he will be going to Missie and Shaun's with ShaKira and Levi to play with Cheyanne and Petey, so Puckerboy is looking forward to his day tomorrow. Today has not been as busy as tomorrow will be with having the daycare kids here"

Hayden decides that Puckerboy should try to make friends with ShaKira, by getting her closer to him, and ShaKira has no desire to be Puckerboy's friend...

The next thing on the agenda was to share a POP-TART with Mallory and Delaney...

Puckerboy really loved that POP-TART because it had HOT WHEEL cars stamped on them, as you can see, he only has a small piece left of his...


Puckerboy got to meet Ebbie today, even though Ebbie seems okay with Puckerboy, the sad fact is that she doesn't even know he is there because she is now officially blind and 90% deaf, but Puckerboy liked hanging with her because she isn't wild and crazy like those Boxers and that little "weiner" dog...take note....Levi's leg near by, he is very jealous of anyone that has Puckerboy...


Levi still will not share Puckerboy with ShaKira, he does this quick twist and turn when she comes near so she can't grab him...
Last but not least is Puckerboy accessing BT to check in with all of his families that he has visited before and that he plans on visiting in the near future. Puckerboy did get a bit homesick for some of his buddies when he was looking through the forum, following his threads about his visits...

Hey Everyone this is Puckerboy - Boxer Talk: "Well I made it to Mom 2 2 Boxers today. The mail lady brought me to the door and my Foster Mom brought me inside. Debbie thought that I would be best to stay in my box until all of the daycare kids left. As soon as the last kid was out the door, I could hear sniffing outside of my box and I knew that it was time to get out of there and meet everyone.

But the play didn't last long at all because my Foster Mom, Debbie, decided that I needed a bath after that long trip and in that stuffy box...


I can't believe this, I actually did enjoy that bubble bath, it was very refreshing after the long trip to visit ShaKira and Levi...
I was freezing after my bath, so Debbie wrapped me in my own special towel, just my size...


After the long trip, the bubble bath and all of that play with all of those crazy dogs, I got sleepy and so did they, here I am resting with Levi...

My UPS transport got in at 8pm last night and I was welcomed by the loud barking of Georgia, no chance I was going to be missed and have to spend the night outside in my travel box!"
This morning I got to jam with Cami who loves to dance to the music she makes on her piano.

Hello everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that my visit with Samantha & Syd officially ended this morning and I am on my way to go visit Georgia Girl and boy am I excited to meet her.



Last evening I got to spend some time with both Samantha & Syd and say my Goodbye's and I tried to explain to them that I had to leave but I would be fine because I was going to visit some of their other friends and that I would be well taken care of

I said goodbye to sweet Samantha first as you see and she was actually okay with the fact that I was leaving but she still seemed a bit sad.

Now came the hard part....saying goodbye to my Buddy Syd. Boy was that tough! You can see that he was really sad and did not take the news so well and he finally laid his head down and called it a night but at least I got to lay with him and I know he was really sad because usually he is rough with me but not last night.

So the morning came and here I thought last night was going to be the hard part saying my goodbye's but this morning when it was time for me to go back in my box and begin my journey but the final look on Syd's face just about broke my heart.

A day at the Dog Park for Puckerboy - Boxer Talk: "I got to go to the Dog Park today with Samantha & Syd but for some reason they did not show too much interest in me there so I decided that I would help out."

Update on Samantha's Vet Visit (Lump check) - Boxer Talk

Update on Samantha's Vet Visit (Lump check) - Boxer Talk: "Well we just got back from the Vet's office and even though I said I was not going to have a Fine Needle Aspiration done - I had it done anyway.

Even though the lump has went down the vet is still very unsure about it and said that she has seen Mass Cell Tumor's and Histiocytoma's that look like this even though they do go down in size. She also said that some Histiocytoma's are not always Cancer free so right there alone scared me. Some can go away on their own and some don't.

She said we can wait another 2 weeks but I said What the H*ll might as well have it done because sometimes two weeks can be two weeks too long if it is Cancer.

Just wanted to update you all and hopefully the results will be back tomorrow. If it happens to come back with positive results then I will schedule her surgery for Thursday as that is my Vet's surgery day. I know that the FNA is only 50% conclusive but I told her to do it in several areas in which she did so that way we have a better chance of finding something. Also, if it comes back where she does not have any answers for me I honestly do not know what I am going to do about this lump.

Just wanted to let you know also that Puckerboy came along to give Samantha a little extra support."

It was awful darn hot...but I guess it was a good way to ready myself for the Cali. weather that is coming next! I met Mandy the Basset Hound...she is quite the character! Her and Bailey just each other to pieces. And then I met Mr. Riley the lab/pit mix...he's great too! Everyone loved me and I got sniffed and tickled all over. Update on my travels - Boxer Talk: "It's Puckerboy! I've been lax in my updates and I apogolize! Things get pretty crazy here sometimes. I am having great fun though...Monday night I got to go to the little ones ballgames with Bailey! We didn't get no pics but it was a blast. All sorts of kids hangin' around us and Bailey was a very very good boy! I do have a question to ask you all. I have the opportunity to go camping with the family this weekend, I was planning on leaving for my next trip on Friday, but would really like to meet the other dogs that go camping with the family....Mandy, she is a real laid back Basset I'm told, and also Riley, who is a lab/pit mix and sounds like fun. But I'm not sure if I would be overstaying my welcome or not...what do you all think?"

Even before my box was opened all I could hear was lots and lots of sniffen', Greta and Bailey knew there was something special waiting for them! Greta's daddy made a mistake of squeaking the brand new squeaky toy Roxy picked out and Greta only has eyes for 'her' toy! Squeak, squeak, squeak...she is a nut! Bailey was happy to see me...me and him are gonna be best buds. I hear tell that today we are doing some yard work and then having a cookout...I'm pretty sure I heard the work 'beer'...yep, I'm gonna like these people!

Boy oh boy were they excited to see me! I am not sure if it was my stunning good looks and sparkling personality or that Basset Cologne I was wearing that turned them on most!

Introducing Puckerboy - Page 3 - Boxer Talk: "woohoo, I can't wait to hit the road. You all sound so wonderful and I just know I am going to have the time of my life.
So here is what I got them to do, I finally talked them into a decent box to put me in, they had me all scrunched up in some used ebay box so I refused to go anywhere in that thing. Then I look down and see these 3 long eared drooling beasts trying to slobber on me and I hear this lady say they get a shot at me before I leave, bring it on basset babies , they won't stop me from my journey.

A few things I said I would not leave without. My padded box, my itenarary, and my journal. I like to keep a log of where I go and where I have been, you just never know when you might get a bump on the head and can't remember a thing.
Oh yeah, as I arrive at each home I would like to be allowed computer access if that is okay. I want to check in with my folks so they know I am okay, although they are not worried, I am with family and it looks like you all already know some of my relatives (lucy doesn't have a clue as to where my cousin is, right ) lol, just kidding.
Anyway, I overheard something about going to some landmarks around town before I leave, I will post some pics before I head out.
